At 86 Custom Woodworking, our top priority is your satisfaction. We understand that sometimes things do not work out, so we want to make the return process as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Please take a moment to review our easy-to-follow return and refund policy. 

Return & Refund Guidelines

  1. 10-Day Return Window. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have 10 days from the delivery date to request a refund. Let us know and we will guide you through the process

  2. How to Request a Return.  Before sending anything back, please contact us first to get approval for your return.  This helps us ensure your return is processed quickly and correctly. You can reach us at 86customwoodworking@gmail.com.

  3. Refund Timeline: Once we receive the returned item and it is in good condition we will process your refund within 10 days. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. 

  4. Customized Products We specialize in custom pieces tailored to your exact specifications., so unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on customized products.  This includes any item made with specific designs, measurements, or personalization.  If you have questions about customization do not hesitate to reach out to us before placing your order.

  5. What if My Item Arrives Damaged? We take great care in packaging our products to prevent damage during shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us right away. We‘ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, whether that means issuing a replacement or providing a refund. 

  6. Returning Your Item? After receiving return approval, please send the item back to the following address:  86 Custom Woodworking, 29W326 Helen Avenue, West Chicago, Il 60185.  Please be sure the item is in its original condition, with all packaging, instructions, and accessories included.  This will help us process your return smoothly.  

Additional Information

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or defective upon arrival.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns to ensure it arrives safely. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it’s lost in transit.

Refunds will be issued once the item is received and inspected. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to process after we receive the return.
